Well, in previous posts and on my website I said that I’d  like to create everything by hand (no wysiwyg programs). Well I still have that opinion and the attitude that the Internet, at least the W3 portion of it is gotten way to full with people who don’t know how it all works and are just throwing stuff up with wysiwyg programs and CMS (Content Management Systems) without having to earn their strips in the trenches by at least getting a higher education and learning how things really should work!

Of course, from experience I learned that the “Doctors” in Computer Science at most of our Universities really haven’t earned their strips either. They teach “theory” and not application. Thus proving the old saying, “If you can’t do… Teach!”

The title of this post is “I Surrender” because a few of my “friends” on some “professional” forums commented just too many times that my efforts were a joke and that I should abandon the job of taking care of my Mom so I could get my eBusiness up and running faster!

Well.. more on that in a second. So I surrender because I did find some open source tools to do some of the stuff I was going to take the time to design myself and I will be up and running a full business shortly. (I use open source so I remain in control of every line of code that runs on the server! Stubborn, huh.)

Okay, I think I have gotten past the point where some search engines/ RSS feed readers will excerpt, so I am free to be vulgar.

To all my supposed professional friends, “Your Assholes and Punks. You truely need to re-evaluate your priorities in life. Making money, working all the time (especially working staring at a computer) is not the purpose of life. Simply put the purpose of life is to Live! And to live in a way so  that when your gone someone remembers what you stood for not what you did for a living! And the best thing to stand for is how to care for those around us!”

So I am gonna leave the comments open on this post along with the pingbacks and trackbacks. So go ahead disagree in public! Tell the world you think it’s more important to be a finacial success in life than it is to take care of your loved ones. Go ahead, make my day! But if you do so,  have  guts, “man-up”,  don’t  hid behind screen names! Insert your real name!
